Is your museum undergoing RENOVATION or EXPANSION? Do you need CURATORIAL or DESIGN SUPPORT for IN-HOUSE EXHIBITIONS? Are you looking for guidance in developing your own TRAVELING EXHIBITION PROGRAM? Do you not have the staff to handle your own PROJECT MANAGEMENT?

EDG CONSULTING can assist through our expertise and wide array of services, whether you need help with a small in-house project or if you want to implement a multi-million dollar exhibition or long-term strategic planning initiative.

EDG’s extensive consulting expertise is supported by an international network of museum and exhibition professionals and continues to grow with every new project. Most recently EDG entered a long-term consulting agreement with The National Archives & Records Administration in Washington, D.C. to manage the tour of the exhibition Discovering the Civil War, based on the Archive’s extensive collection including the original Emancipation Proclamation.

Additionally, EDG has commenced the development of five new exhibitions to support the demand of science institutions that educate and “edutain.” Included are The Eco House: Living in Green & Blue  with renowned sustainability architect and advocate, Michelle Kaufman, and MythBusters, the first traveling exhibition with Discovery™ Communications, both with support from exhibition designer, Geoffrey M. Curley + Associates.

Recently we have taken on management of two exhibitions from European and Middle Eastern cultural foundations: the Arts of Piranesi: architect, etcher, antiquarian, vedutista, designer from the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, Italy, and A Story of Islamic Embroidery in Nomadic and Urban Traditions , which has been developed in cooperation with the AMBA Foundation, Geneva, Switzerland.

P.S. Join EDG staff and many other museum advocates at the American Association of Museum's Museum Advocacy Day on February 28 in Washington, D.C., at which time we will visit our congressional leaders to raise visibility for our cultural institutions and support for their continued growth.
